Let Go!

I decided to get some pictures of Mommy and Daddy with the kids since they were all dressed up for Grayson's Christmas Sing. At one point, Creux got ahold of my hair and would not let go! Grayson thought it was hilarious! It reminded me of why I wear a pony-tail so much and don't let my hair down around Creux. I think he's getting me back for stopping breastfeeding! He started giving Mommy kisses in one of the pictures..and he loves to cuddle with Daddy!

What Time Is My Interview?

Look at this tie! Hilarious! Creux dirtied his pants in the middle of Grayson's Christmas Sing tonight. We exited as soon as she was done with her song and had Grandma Jancie and Grandpa Shorty bring her home! I've never been so happy to smell a dirty diaper in my life! Exit, stage left!
Creux had his first shots today! One in each thigh. It was awful...for Mom. He is doped up on Tylenol in this second picture if you can't tell. He is 12 lbs 8 ozs already and 24 1/2 inches long. He is in the 95th percentile for his length, and the 75th percentile for his weight. What a Haus!

A Chorus Line

Tonight Grayson had her Christmas Sing at the High School with every other elementary school child in the town! Standing room only. I had to get the kids ready by myself because Jeremy worked late and had to meet me there...but the important part was that he made it in time to see Grayson sing! We took a couple pictures of the kids in their "fancy" clothes! Soooo cute! I think I should've exploited Grayson's good looks and retired early....once again, I know I'm biased!

Stress

I call this post "Stress" because we did the most stressful thing a parent can choose to participate in yesterday...we got pictures of Creux and Grayson done! And because I skipped the one month pictures, I felt rushed to get the 2 month pictures done, so I just went to Sears instead of my regular photographer. Kind of a mistake, but oh well. Creux got dressed up in his first tie and Grayson wore her recital dress which she will wear tomorrow night when she has her Christmas sing. They were adorable, but Creux had his nap interrupted so he was pretty upset and hungry. We would put the bottle in, then pull it out and try to get him to laugh. Daddy does the best job of that! Creux pulled through at the end though, and we got a couple of shots with him smiling. What a relief! Next time...naked pictures!

Oh Tanenbaum!

Last night, Grayson and I finally got our Christmas Tree decorated. The dark, empty spot in the pictures has since been remedied. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice....we really worked hard on this project! I sit all day looking at the person who rents the shop next door off of me, and her trees are unbelievable! A work of art....so I got inspired! Plus, we misplaced all of our old decorations which wouldn't have matched anyways. When we were done, we joined Creux and Daddy in the basement and watched Christmas Vacation....or was that the night before? I can't remember. Anyways, Grayson and I are Christmas nuts....who just so happen to live with Scrooge! :) We are trying to bring Jeremy around, but he doesn't get as excited about Charlie Brown Christmas we we do...ok, it's actually me...but Grayson tolerates it more! lol.

She's so pretty!

Just felt like I was neglecting my first born and loved these pictures of her. I'm biased, but I think she is just gorgeous!

Your Gang!

We visited your friends when we were in Effingham over Thanksgiving. You met Ali and Evan for the first time. They belong to Dave and Debbie and Rick and Tina. They are soooo cute! We hadn't seen Evan since the day after our wedding so he was such a big boy now! And Ali looks just like her Mommy! They played really well together and you fussed, pooped and puked! You usually don't fuss, but the latter was typical. Next year you will be chasing them down, but don't think you'll be able to push Ali around just because she's a girl! She's in charge of this gang! lol. A woman after your mother's heart!

Two Hams!

Uncle Josh and Uncle David celebrated Thanksgiving with us here at Grandma Vickie's. David is way too excited about his ham! I think they might like you a little bit, but don't tell them you know....they like to play it cool, unlike your father! He likes to see how ridiculous he can look when he tries to get you to smile!
David made noodles, cheesecake, pecan pie, and walnut pie. Your Mommy just ate a lot of food! You'll learn, there was a reason I took wood shop in high school instead of home economics. I guess I could've used the extra education, but oh well. Just find a spouse that will cook for you and you won't have to worry about it....or a brother-in-law who likes to cook, and you won't have to bring anything to Thanksgiving Dinner! Ask your father, you don't want me to cook!
We all played a new Uno game with Grandpa Jim's daughter Lynn as well. It was really fun! Uncle David is hilarious when it's his turn! I can't wait to see Grayson try to keep up at Christmas time. Sometime I'll tell you about the time your Uncle Josh realized I was breastfeeding you in front of him with you under a blanket! Now that's a funny story!

Little White Dove meets Creux!

Creux got to meet Aunt Barb and Lanni the weekend we went to Effingham! Aunt Barb is hilarious. There's some story about the song 'Running Bull Loved Little White Dove' and Aunt Barb that we'll have to tell Creux someday! When he's older of course! I'm convinced that Uncle Josh is like Aunt Barb and Daddy is more like Aunt Sis. I might be way off, but that's what I see...oh wait...I forgot....your Daddy is your Grandma Vickie reincarnated! Even the bad habits! :) lol. It's ok, she admits it! You'll love Aunt Barb!

Thanksgiving in Effingham

We went to Effingham a couple weeks ago to celebrate Thanksgiving with the grandparents. Here we are at Grandma Vickie's. Mommy loves visiting Grandma Vickie because she takes the 6 am feeding and lets Mommy get a big chunk of sleep at once. I always feels rested when I come home from there! Plus, she makes really good coffee which I insist on drinking out of these little Frankoma mugs. Now that we aren't breastfeeding, I can have all of the caffiene I want again! Yay!

You Know What They Say About Big Feet!

A couple weeks ago, we went to Effingham to visit the Grandparents for Thanksgiving. Grandpa Bob and Grandma Linda couldn't believe how big Creux was getting! He fed him for the first time and Creux got to play, "Guess what actor Grandpa Bob can't remember the name of Game", which is always fun! :) It was Martin Mull by the way if anyone wants to know! I guess you had to be there. Creux was a good baby, like usual. He loves riding in the car. Oh! And these are his first shoes ever! Cammo! Grandpa Bob and Grandma Linda got them for him. His feet are huge! He's into 9-18 month old socks already!

Mommy's Baby Shower for Creux

Here are some pictures I took off of Aunt Ali's blog of Mommy's baby shower. Grandma Vickie and Debbie threw it for me. I was soooo surprised to see Alison! Other friends that attended were Joyce, Jen, Debbie, Peggy, etc. Family members who attended were Barb, Sally, Kathy, Grayson, Grandma Cheryl, Grandma Vickie, Aunt Zoe, Holly, Grandma Linda, Grandma Matilda, Barb Rieman, etc.
I think there might be a double chin in there somewhere in these pictures! Go Colts!
